SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) The holiday ice rink at Union Square in San Francisco opens Wednesday morning, organizers said. Safeway is sponsoring the rink, which is in its 12th season, and the season gets underway at 9:30 a.m. with a dance by the cast of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." Following the dance, performances and remarks by others, school children will go on the ice for the season's first skate.
